Aysun Pekin

Aysun Pekin was born in Bursa in 1960 and graduated from Mimar Sinan University School of Architecture. She started painting in the workshop of Painter Kasım Koçak in 2003. She studied patterns with painter Aysu Koçak. She still continues her works in her own workshop.

She participated in the Europa Donna Türkiye Group Exhibition in the Vali Konağı Mini Gallery in 2009. Her work entitled "Işığa Doğru" (Towards the Light) was exhibited in the contest organized by the Turkish Naval Force under the theme of the Sea and the Human Being. Her work entitled "Nostalji" (Nostalgia) was found worthy of exposition in the Yunus Emre Painting Contest organized jointly by Anadolu University and the Governorship of Eskişehir in 2011.
