Nazife Murat

Nazife Murat has taken her creative journey to another level with a master’s program she started in Marmara University in 2012. Her compositions are either fragments of a whole or an amalgamation of fragments, complemented with a harmony of colors. Murat takes pleasure in interpreting everything that surrounds her in her own style. Women are the main subjects of her work.

As if standing behind a carbon paper, her works in the exhibition are a testimony to our lives. Murat’s pieces reflect our habits shaped by the consumption culture, work, shopping carts, social networks, learned truths and solitude, filtered mostly through the lens of the artist herself.
