Ramazan Huajev was born in the Hatujukay village of Adygea in 1960. He finished his studies in the artistic graphics department of Adygea Higher School of Pedagogy in 1980. He has been member of Union of Russian Painters since 2000 and has participated in numerous exhibitions across Russia and the Republic of Adygea.
The distinctive aspect of Ramazan Huajev's art lies in the value he attributes to Adyghe history and traditions. Huajev passionately loves his relatives, villagers and the Farz river surrounding him since he was a child and the small stories and images hidden in these values take shape in his hands.
He has gained reputation with the decorative plates he created with the coat of arms of his family and other Adyghe symbols. He tries different methods and breathes life into trees thanks to this technique.
Ramazan Huajev has developed the original methods he has used in his art every day and has been able to establish different dialogues with his admirers. His works are included in the Museum of Eastern Peoples of the Republic of Adygea, The National Museum of Adygea and the art gallery of the Republic of Adygea and also private collections.
