Semiha Biçer was born in Istanbul. She started painting at TEGV (Educational Volunteers Foundation of Türkiye) in 1997. Then she took lessons from painting teachers at the Selçuk Vocational School for Girls. She has been working on her art for more than a decade at the workshop of Ebulfez Ferecoğlu who is still her professor at the Press Museum since 1999.
Thanks to her play with colors, the irresistible charm of paint and her unique interpretation, she reflects on her canvas the storms of freedom breaking out from within.
